Story

Brian and Renee Murphy (BRM) created their family foundation to strengthen their commitment to giving back to their community and beyond, while ensuring that future generations of their family continue and expand the mission of the BRM Family Foundation. Renee Murphy graduated from Purdue with a degree in Communication Disorders and Audiology, and a BA in Psychology 1999. After finishing her Master's in Speech Pathology in 2001 from Florida State University, Renee built a career as a Pediatric Speechologist, working for Florida Hospital and later Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. While raising a family, Renee began to volunteer as a Guardian ad Litem for the State of Florida 13th Circuit. She currently serves as a volunteer and active board member for Voices For Children nonprofit, Academy Prep Center of, Zeta Tau Alpha at the University of Tampa, and The Florida State University Alumni Association. Brian Murphy graduated from Florida State University with degrees in Accounting and Finance. In 200, he founded ReliaQuest, headquartered in, FL. Today, ReliaQuest is one of the world's largest cybersecurity software companies, with a valuation of over $3.4 billion. As the Founder and CEO of ReliaQuest, Brian has ensured a focus on adding value back into the communities where the company operates. The ReliaQuest Bowl, Junior Achievement, Boys and Girls Club, and Think Big for Kids are just a few nonprofits where ReliaQuest partners, both financially and through service hours, to give back. In addition to nonprofits, ReliaQuest is committed to raising awareness of and opportunities within cybersecurity with the University of South Florida, Florida State University, and other organizations. Married in 2005, the couple has two children.

Brian and Renee believe they can continue to make a significant impact in their community and beyond, and the BRM Family Foundation will be at the center of their family's charitable focus for generations to come.
